Using our invention organizers from last week, students created invention cards and organized the inventions along a timeline. This led to the discussion that the inventions occurred for the most part in "chunks" during certain time periods of history - the Industrial Revolution and World War II.
Students worked with partners today to identify the capital, natural & human resources needed to produce an invention. We then discussed what was common among all the inventions....ask your child!
On another note...A big KUDOS to one of our students who informed her parents about earmuffs and their inventor after seeing them in the store over the weekend!!! Way to "spend time learning!"
